Justin Baldoni suffered a fresh blow after Elizabeth Day removed an episode of her podcast How to Fail featuring the It Ends With Us star following Blake Lively’s sexual claims.
Podcast host and British author Elizabeth Day, who had invited the 40-year-old director on her show, announced her decision on Instagram on December 24.
The 46-year-old broadcaster wrote, “I have decided to remove the recent How to Fail interview with Justin Baldoni from all platforms while the distressing allegations made against him in Blake Lively‘s recent lawsuit are fully investigated.”
“Every individual has a right to a safe workplace. Every woman has the right to dignity in that workplace, Every form of abuse should be called out and I salute the individuals who dare to do so,” she concluded her post.
Elizabeth decided to remove the episode after Lively mentioned Baldoni’s comments from his appearance on the How to Fail podcast episode, in her legal complaint.
During that episode on the talk show, the Clouds star opened up about experiencing a “near breakdown” while filming one scene in It Ends with Us film.
On December 4, the father-of-two appeared on the podcast, where he discussed receiving an ADHD diagnosis at the age of 40 and faced difficult moments while leading the romantic-drama movie.
For the unversed, Lively filed a legal case against Baldoni on December 20, accusing him of sexual abuse, and “disturbing and unprofessional” behaviour while filming their film It Ends With Us.
She also alleged that the actor launched a retaliatory smear campaign against her.
