Prince Andrew, the Duke of York has just received calls for some sympathy by writer and critics who feel he’s being ‘bullied’ this time around.
Prince Andrew has just sparked some sympathy and calls for more ‘fair treatment’ after his decision to withdraw from Christmas lunch came to light.
This comment has been issued by writer Tom Utley, in one of his pieces for the Daily Mail.
Mr Utley began his entire take by saying, “I don’t know about you but I find something ugly about the lynch mob gleefully descending on him, yet again, this time over his embarrassing association with a man now suspected of being a Chinese spy.”
“It looks like bullying to me,” he also went as far as to allege, right in the middle of his piece.
And “Much to my surprise, I felt a pang of sympathy for him over his withdrawal from yesterday’s traditional Christmas lunch at the Palace for the extended Royal Family, apparently after pressure from on high and a quiet word from his ex-wife, Fergie,” he also noted before signing off.
For those unversed with the issue surrounding Prince Andrew this time around, he has been linked to a man being accused of being a Chinese spy.
This man in question served as his right hand man and a trusted member of his business, given authority to make decisions in his absence and would also receive invitations to Buckingham Palace for events like birthdays, by the King’s brother himself.
