Cotton Slips Lower into the Monday Close

Cotton futures closed the Monday session with contracts down 10 to 31 points. The outside markets were again mixed factors, with the US dollar index down 124 points and crude oil back down 65 cents/barrel. 

The Seam reported 5,661 bales of online sales on December 13 at an average price of 63.45 cents/lb. ICE cotton stocks were unchanged on Friday, at 20,113 bales of certified stocks. The Cotlook A Index was unchanged on 12/13 at 80.25 cents/lb. The USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP) was cut by 152 points on Thursday to 56.22 cents/lb. 

Mar 25 Cotton  closed at 69.06, down 21 points,

May 25 Cotton  closed at 70.22, down 19 points,

Jul 25 Cotton  closed at 71.27, down 14 points
