Boxing results: Munguia loses by KO, Rocha and Curiel fight to a draw

Seven notable boxing cards took place this weekend, including four women’s title fights, and a big upset in Tijuana, Mexico.

Super middleweight contender Jaime Munguia, who was making his fourth appearance this year, was knocked out by Bruno Surace in the sixth round with an incredible right hook to the chin Saturday night. Munguia tried to get up but was counted out by the referee.

Surace (26-0-2, 5 KOs), who was fighting for the first time outside of France, went down in Round 2 and was in trouble most of the fight until he landed that heavy right hand to get the win.
